Climate Yodha Campaign Inspires Citizens to Become Power Saving Heroes

Electricity is all around us, in every light switched on, every appliance running, and every comfort we enjoy. But what if each of us could be a hero simply by using power wisely? That is the message behind the newly launched Climate Yodha campaign, urging every citizen to take charge in the fight against rising energy consumption and climate change.

Bharat Smart Services, a leading energy efficiency startup, has introduced innovative smart electrical devices that help households and industries reduce their electricity bills while contributing to environmental protection. 

Speaking about the initiative on Friday, CEO Sikander Reddy said the company’s smart solutions are already enabling consumers across India to collectively save over Rs 5 crore in electricity bills.

As part of its public awareness efforts, the company organised a special programme titled Climate Yodha at Ameerpet Metro Station. Highlighting the campaign’s significance, Sikander Reddy emphasized that responsible power usage is crucial in supporting Telangana’s Vision 2047 Net Zero goals, encouraging people to adopt smarter energy practices for a greener future.

Currently working with DISCOMs (Electricity Distribution Companies) in five states including Odisha, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra, the company has been helping consumers save nearly Rs 25 lakh every month through its smart devices. Bharat Smart Services is also associated with Tata Power to advance energy saving solutions across India.

With electrical appliance usage rapidly increasing, the startup urged citizens to switch to smart energy devices to combat rising power costs and protect the environment.

The event also featured a sand art display created by a local artist, highlighting electricity conservation and environmental protection. It drew the attention of metro travellers and supported the campaign’s message.
