Corporate Cricket with Purpose and Power: FPL Season 1 Rolls Out from 24 Jan to 26 April

Under stadium lights and corporate jerseys, cricket is finding a new stage, not in stadiums filled with fans, but on grounds filled with professionals playing with purpose. As corporates increasingly invest in sports and employee wellness, leagues are rising across India with professional formats and social missions. Aligning with this momentum, Hyderabad is now gearing up for a first-of-its-kind corporate cricket championship built on the vision of ‘Play for a Cause’, supporting hearing-impaired children, empowering women, and strengthening rural sports.

At a ceremony held at the Tech Mahindra Auditorium, Hitech City, on Saturday, MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy unveiled the official poster of the Fourrise Premier League (FPL) Season 1, marking the formal debut of what is being positioned as Hyderabad’s biggest professionally run corporate cricket league. With 96 teams, 1,400+ corporate players and 100+ companies, the league blends sporting excellence with social contribution.

Founded and promoted by FOURRISE Sports LLP, FPL aims to build a transparent and professionally governed corporate cricket ecosystem across the Telugu States. The league leadership, headed by Nangi Devendar Reddy, Chairman and Founder, and Dr. Sriprakash Vinnakota, Founder and President, highlighted FPL’s commitment to professionalism, fair play and meaningful community impact. The league also draws strategic guidance from former India cricketer and ex-Chief Selector MSK Prasad, who joins as Chief Advisor.

The initiative’s social pillar is enabled through its NGO partner Maurya Foundation, with support from Microcare ENT Super Speciality Hospital and Bharath Pravasi, while YELDAM serves as Food Partner and Mayura Foundation supports community outreach.
