BioAsia 2026: TechBio Revolution to Hit Hyderabad on Feb 17–18

BioAsia 2026 is back this February with a new focus on scaling biotech from research to real-world impact, from AI-led drug discovery to early diagnostics and precision care. With global majors, local startups and government stakeholders aligning, the ecosystem is now talking less about potential and more about deployment.

The 23rd edition is themed TechBio Unleashed: AI, Automation and the Biology Revolution, highlighting how biology, data and deep technology are converging to reshape drug discovery, diagnostics, therapy manufacturing and healthcare delivery. The summit will showcase innovations that make healthcare more predictive, personalised and accessible, while strengthening a resilient and inclusive global health system.

The poster launch was held on Thursday, marking the ceremonial start of BioAsia 2026 preparations and setting the stage for one of Asia’s most influential life sciences forums.

Speaking on the occasion, IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu said BioAsia continues to play a crucial role as Telangana advances its economic goals and strengthens its leadership in life sciences and healthcare innovation. He noted that the summit provides a platform for partnerships, investment exploration and collaborative problem-solving in the TechBio domain.

Meanwhile, Special Chief Secretary, Sanjay Kumar, Industries & ITE&C, highlighted that BioAsia 2026 will encourage collaboration between startups, researchers and industry leaders, and enable global stakeholders to explore opportunities in Hyderabad’s growing TechBio ecosystem.

Shakthi Nagappan, CEO, Telangana Life Sciences Foundation, added that this edition arrives at a critical moment when AI, automation and data are converging with biology to unlock unprecedented opportunities for innovation, investment and impact. He emphasised that the forum will not only host discussions but enable translation of ideas into action by connecting startups, global companies, researchers and policymakers.

Over the past two decades, BioAsia has become Asia’s premier platform for life sciences, biopharma, health-tech and medical innovation. It has consistently strengthened Hyderabad’s position as a global hub for vaccines, biomanufacturing, medtech and digital health innovation, supported by world-class infrastructure and a deep pool of scientific talent.

BioAsia 2026 is expected to deliver strategic value for startups, researchers, investors, policymakers and global organisations. The summit will connect innovators with investors, act as a bridge between laboratory breakthroughs and market adoption, and provide a forum for policymakers to co-create regulatory frameworks that encourage innovation while safeguarding patient safety and public interest.

All stakeholders are invited to participate in BioAsia 2026 from February 17–18 in Hyderabad to explore investment opportunities, create collaborations and contribute to the TechBio revolution shaping the future of global healthcare.
