What if the journey to a book talk began with a morning walk, a shared clue and a moment of discovery? As the city gears up for one of its most loved cultural gatherings, the Hyderabad Literary Festival 2026 is inviting citizens to step out, slow down, and reconnect, not just with books, but with the city itself.
Stepping beyond pages and podiums, HLF has announced the Hyderabad Runners Society as its official NGO Partner for the festival’s 16th edition, blending literature with movement, mindfulness, and community participation, and offering Hyderabad’s readers, runners, and IT professionals a refreshing way to engage with ideas before they reach the festival stage.
At its heart, the Hyderabad Literary Festival is a celebration of books and conversations that shape ideas and spark dialogue. Hosted by the Hyderabad Literary Trust, HLF 2026 will be held from January 24 to January 26, 2026, at Sattva Knowledge City, Hi-tech City, a location that sits at the crossroads of the city’s cultural and tech communities. The three-day festival will feature author interactions, panel discussions, readings, and talks across languages and genres, welcoming readers, writers, students and IT professionals.
As part of this partnership, the Hyderabad Runners Society will host a special pre-festival event designed to warm up the city ahead of HLF 2026. The “Treasure Hunt 2026, Walk, Observe, Decide, Discover” is a Walk and Jog Treasure Hunt that blends physical activity with curiosity and problem-solving, encouraging participants to engage with their surroundings while working as a team.
