So what really happens when ideas are not just shared but actually put into action?
Turning up the heat this summer, TEDxHyderabad returns on April 19, 2026, bringing a full day of powerful ideas and real conversations to Akshaya Convention in Vattinagulapally near the Financial District. With this year’s theme “FIRE-UP,” the focus is clear, not just sharing ideas but turning them into action.
Known for taking ideas beyond the stage and into real life, TEDxHyderabad is among the most influential TEDx platforms in India. Over the years, it has helped shape conversations across startups, policy, education and social impact. Many speakers have gone on to drive change in their fields, making it a strong launchpad for new voices and thought leaders.
The 2026 edition will feature a diverse lineup of speakers. These include Dr. M. Subrahmanyam of Sparsh Hospice, known for his work in end-of-life care, and Dr. B. Somaraju, who worked with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on affordable heart care innovations. Also speaking are Badiga Srikanth, a global infrastructure leader, and Dr. Suravi Sharma Kumar, a healthcare expert and author.
The lineup also brings in voices like Pavan Goyal, who has impacted over 40,000 parents through education initiatives, and Ritesh Tiwari, an international karate player who has trained more than 76,000 youth in self-defence. Dr. Sivaranjani Santosh will share insights on child and maternal health.
Other speakers include Hemakshi Meghani, co-founder of the Indian School of Democracy, Uttam Kumar of Sense International India, and Shezzi M, a wellness expert. The stage will also feature Rajni Bakshi, known for her work on humane economics, Rajiv Chilaka, creator of Chhota Bheem, Uday Krishna, an environmental storyteller, and Krishna Sastry Pendyala, a cybersecurity expert.
The platform is focused on ideas that lead to action and real impact, said Viiveck Verma, Curator and Licensee of TEDxHyderabad. He noted that “FIRE-UP” reflects the need for courage and clarity in today’s fast-changing world.
Meanwhile, Ramesh Loganathan, Senior Core Team Member, added that the event stands out because of the energy created when different ideas and people come together, leading to conversations that continue beyond the stage.
More than just a theme, “FIRE-UP” reflects a larger movement. It highlights the importance of acting on ideas, embracing change and using innovation for good. In a time of rapid growth and disruption, it calls on people to think boldly and take meaningful steps forward.
